Cresp 500 mcg Injection contains darbepoetin alfa, a long acting erythropoiesis stimulating agent used in the management of severe anemia associated with chronic kidney disease in patients undergoing dialysis as well as those not on dialysis. It is also indicated for the treatment of chemotherapy induced anemia in adult cancer patients. The medicine works by stimulating erythropoietin receptors in the bone marrow, leading to increased production of red blood cells and improvement in hemoglobin levels.
