Cresp 60 mcg Injection contains darbepoetin alfa, a long acting erythropoiesis stimulating agent used for the treatment of symptomatic anemia associated with chronic kidney disease in patients on dialysis and not on dialysis, as well as anemia caused by chemotherapy in adult cancer patients. It works by stimulating erythropoietin receptors in the bone marrow, increasing red blood cell production and improving hemoglobin levels. Due to its extended duration of action, Cresp allows less frequent dosing compared to conventional erythropoietin therapies, helping reduce the need for blood transfusions and improve quality of life in patients suffering from anemia related fatigue and weakness.
