Imanib 100mg Tablet contains imatinib mesylate, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used in the treatment of several types of cancer. It is commonly prescribed for the management of chronic myeloid leukaemia, a blood cancer in which abnormal white blood cells multiply uncontrollably, and Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Imanib is also used in the treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumours and certain other conditions involving abnormal cell proliferation. Imatinib works by blocking specific tyrosine kinase enzymes that are involved in cancer cell growth and signalling, helping to slow or stop the spread of cancer cells and supporting disease control under specialist supervision.
