Keytruda 100 mg Injection contains pembrolizumab, a highly specific monoclonal antibody that blocks the programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1) pathway. By inhibiting the interaction between PD-1 on immune cells and its ligands (PD-L1 and PD-L2) on tumor cells, Keytruda enhances the body’s immune response to detect and destroy cancer cells more effectively. This cutting-edge immunotherapy is approved for a wide range of cancers, including advanced melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), classical Hodgkin lymphoma, urothelial carcinoma (bladder cancer), microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) or mismatch repair deficient (dMMR) cancers, and other solid tumors expressing PD-L1. Keytruda is administered under strict hospital supervision through intravenous infusion, generally every 3 or 6 weeks depending on the indication and dosing schedule recommended by your oncologist.
