Sutent 25mg Capsule contains sunitinib, a multi‑targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor used for the treatment and management of advanced cancers including gastrointestinal stromal tumors after disease progression on or intolerance to imatinib, advanced renal cell carcinoma, and progressive, well‑differentiated pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors in adult patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic disease. It works by blocking multiple enzymes and signalling pathways that stimulate the growth and spread of cancer cells and by inhibiting the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumors, thereby helping to slow disease progression and limit further spread of the disease.
