Product Description

Tagrisso 80 mg Tablet contains osimertinib, a third-generation, irreversible epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). It selectively targets EGFR mutations including the common sensitizing mutations as well as the T790M resistance mutation, which are frequent drivers of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Tagrisso is used for the first-line treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic EGFR mutation-positive NSCLC, and also for patients whose disease has progressed on or after EGFR TKI therapy with the T790M mutation. It is also effective in treating or delaying brain metastases due to its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier.
