Veenat 100mg Tablet contains imatinib mesylate, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used in the treatment of various types of cancer. It is primarily indicated for chronic myeloid leukaemia, a cancer of the blood in which abnormal white blood cells grow uncontrollably, and for Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Veenat is also used for gastrointestinal stromal tumours and certain other neoplastic conditions where cancer cells proliferate rapidly.
